I left the classroom

but not curriculum

I'm Deanna, a former classroom teacher with over a decade in elementary and middle school, a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona, and endorsements in ESL and Middle School Social Studies. I know the 11 am slump. I know the unit you dread every spring. I know what it feels like to spend a weekend building something and watch it land flat on Monday.

That's the problem I couldn't stop thinking about when I left the classroom, not how to make content more impressive, but how to make it feel less like a grind for both sides of the desk. Now I build the resources I wish had existed. Inquiry-based, scaffolded, and structured so students do the heavy thinking. You facilitate. They discover. The content takes care of the rest.

With a 4.9 rating on TPT and a Teacher of the Year nomination behind me, I build every resource around one idea: students learn more when they're inside the story, not watching from the outside.
